Case Study 01 · Completed Client Project

Cindy Santiago: rebuilding the reading path across a romance backlist

A completed BBC implementation across Cindy Santiago's five book catalogue, including four interconnected contemporary romance titles that needed a clearer reading path and stronger retail foundation.

Amazon Series Architecture · Retail Copy · Discovery Foundation

Cindy Santiago

Project context: Cindy had five published books. Four contemporary romance titles formed an interconnected standalone reading path: Lessons in Love, The Book of Rook, Chasing Temptation, and Ashes of the Heart. You're Mine remained a separate paranormal romance standalone.

The relationship began with outreach around Ashes of the Heart, but the deeper issue was bigger than one title. The catalogue needed a clearer series structure, stronger retail descriptions, better keyword and category direction, and a cleaner path from one connected book to the next.

BBC narrowed the work into a tightly defined structural implementation with named deliverables, clear review points, and client approval before changes were applied.

Project completion: BBC carried the agreed structural work through to completion, and Cindy confirmed that the books were live on Amazon with the corrections.

ImplementationClient Reviewed
Starting Point

Cindy had an existing backlist and a defined reading order, but the connected books were not being presented clearly enough as one reader journey. The project also needed a review-first implementation process that kept the author in control of changes.

BBC Finding

The immediate priority was not a larger visibility campaign. It was fixing the foundation first: series architecture, retail description clarity, backend keyword direction, category positioning, and the path from one book to the next.

What BBC Delivered

A defined Amazon structural fix covering series linkage, backend keyword metadata, category optimization, and rewritten retail descriptions. Cindy reviewed the copy before implementation.

Documented Completion

Cindy confirmed that the books were live on Amazon with the agreed corrections after the implementation work was completed.

This case study documents completed structural and positioning work. It does not imply guaranteed sales, rankings, reviews, or future commercial outcomes.
Case Study 02 · Documented Campaign Progress

Shafter Bailey: building a visibility campaign around Cindy Divine

A BBC campaign focused on Amazon discoverability, reader positioning, Goodreads visibility, creator outreach, and campaign assets for Cindy Divine: The Little Girl Who Frightened Kings.

Amazon SEO · Goodreads · Creator Outreach

Shafter Bailey

Project context: Cindy Divine: The Little Girl Who Frightened Kings entered the project with an established Goodreads presence and a meaningful reader-interest opportunity. The engagement began with a 90-day visibility roadmap, then moved into an Amazon SEO and discovery implementation phase.

The campaign was structured around clear deliverables, documented implementation, and author control over publishing-account changes.

BBC supplied the Amazon changes as a client-controlled implementation package so the author could apply the recommendations directly inside KDP. The campaign then expanded into Goodreads visibility and targeted creator outreach.

Documented campaign progress: BBC delivered the Amazon SEO implementation package, built Goodreads visibility activity, contacted a targeted creator list, received positive reviewer interest, and prepared social-media campaign assets. The public evidence here reflects work completed and campaign progress, not a claim of guaranteed sales or rankings.

Amazon SEO 7 Keyword Fields
Goodreads 34 Targeted Lists
Creator Outreach 19 Creators Contacted
Positive Responses 2 Reviewers
Starting Point

The book already had meaningful reader interest, but BBC identified a gap between that interest and the book's discovery infrastructure. Shafter also needed a campaign structure he could verify step by step.

BBC Finding

The first priority was strengthening discoverability rather than adding more generic promotion: backend search phrases, retail description clarity, category direction, and a clearer path into relevant reader communities.

What BBC Delivered

A Month 1 Amazon SEO package with seven backend keyword fields, a rewritten book description, three category recommendations, and a step-by-step KDP implementation guide. BBC also developed Goodreads and creator-outreach activity around the campaign.

Documented Progress

Campaign records show 34 targeted Goodreads list placements, 19 creator contacts, two positive reviewer responses, and social-media assets prepared for the next visibility phase.
