Book Growth Roadmap

Find where your book has the strongest opportunity to grow.

The BBC Book Growth Roadmap looks at the book, audience, current visibility, positioning, market, and relevant external opportunities before recommending a campaign path.

What The Roadmap Is

A strategic investigation before the campaign.

The Roadmap helps determine where the strongest opportunity around the book currently sits and what may prevent the author from pursuing it effectively.

Sometimes that means Amazon or Goodreads needs attention. Sometimes the stronger path is a podcast, book club, professional association, reader community, institution, media angle, launch opportunity, or book led business path.

What It Is Not

It is not a disguised package recommendation.

The Roadmap does not begin with a predetermined service.

BBC researches the book first and then recommends the direction that appears most relevant to the author's current goals and market position.

Receiving a Roadmap does not commit the author to hiring BBC. If deeper execution is useful, that is discussed separately after the recommendation.

What We Research

The Roadmap looks beyond one platform.

We examine the pieces that influence where the book can grow, what may be limiting it, and which opportunities are worth exploring.

Book Positioning

What the book is about, who it serves, its promise or story, genre expectations, strengths, differentiators, and how easily someone can understand why it matters.

Reader & Audience Fit

Which readers, professionals, communities, or organizations have the strongest reason to care about the book.

Amazon & Goodreads

Whether the major book discovery pages support or weaken the reader path once interest already exists.

Media & Podcast Opportunities

Relevant conversations, shows, publications, newsletters, or media environments where the author and book may have a credible angle.

Communities & Organizations

Book clubs, associations, professional networks, institutions, nonprofits, reader groups, and other communities with a genuine connection to the subject.

Campaign Direction

Which opportunity appears strongest now, what should happen first, what can wait, and what type of support may be justified.

How It Works

Research first. Recommendation second.

The Roadmap is designed to stop the campaign from starting with assumptions.

1

You Send The Book

Share the title, available book links, author links, and the main result you are currently trying to achieve.

2

We Research

BBC reviews the book, positioning, audience, current presence, market signals, and relevant external opportunities.

3

We Prioritize

The strongest opportunities are separated from ideas that may sound good but have little practical reason to work for this particular book.

4

You Receive Direction

You receive the recommended path and, when deeper support makes sense, a separate written scope explains the campaign work.

BBC Book Growth Roadmap

One book can have several possible growth paths.

The Roadmap helps determine which path deserves attention rather than assuming every available marketing channel belongs in the campaign.

What You Receive

A clearer next move.

  • Book and author positioning observations
  • Audience and reader opportunity analysis
  • Current platform observations where relevant
  • Specific opportunity findings
  • Priority recommendation
  • Campaign direction
  • Suggested next step
The Opportunity Can Be Different For Every Book

The Roadmap is deliberately not one size fits all.

Different books create different reasons for people, communities, organizations, and platforms to pay attention.

Podcast & Media

The book may connect naturally with conversations already happening on podcasts, newsletters, publications, or specialist media.

Reader Communities

The strongest path may sit in book clubs, Goodreads communities, genre spaces, or niche reader groups.

Professional Associations

A nonfiction book may be relevant to coaches, executives, clinicians, educators, entrepreneurs, industry groups, or other professional communities.

Institutional Use

Some books may have relevance for schools, training programs, nonprofits, companies, communities, or other institutions.

Platform Discovery

Sometimes Amazon, Goodreads, metadata, description clarity, or the conversion path genuinely is the priority.

Book Led Business

For relevant nonfiction authors, the book may support speaking, training, consulting, workshops, partnerships, or a wider professional brand.

What Happens After

A Roadmap recommendation does not automatically become a sales pitch.

If the research identifies a useful opportunity that BBC can help pursue, the campaign is discussed separately. The author receives a written explanation of what the work involves before payment is requested.

Opportunity

We explain the reason

You should understand why a particular audience, platform, community, or campaign direction was recommended.

Scope

Deliverables are written down

If BBC is carrying out deeper work, the scope explains what we are responsible for and what the engagement includes.

Choice

The author decides what happens next

Receiving a Roadmap does not require you to purchase a larger BBC campaign.

Good Fit

The Roadmap is useful when you need direction before execution.

  • Your book is published but growth feels unclear
  • You are preparing a launch or relaunch
  • You are unsure which audience deserves attention
  • You have tried promotion without understanding why it underperformed
  • You want opportunities outside ordinary social media promotion
  • You want a reason behind the campaign before paying for execution
Important Expectation

Research can identify opportunity. It cannot guarantee third party decisions.

A relevant podcast can still decline a guest.

A book club can choose another title.

An institution may decide not to adopt a resource.

Amazon and Goodreads control their own platforms.

The Roadmap is designed to improve the quality of the decision and campaign direction, not promise outcomes BBC does not control.

Unless BBC explicitly states otherwise in writing, an opportunity identified in the Roadmap is a researched prospect or strategic direction, not a confirmed partnership, placement, booking, adoption, or acceptance.

Written scope before payment

If deeper campaign support is recommended and you choose to proceed, the deliverables, timeline, investment, responsibilities, and payment details are confirmed in writing before the project begins.

Brand Builders Connect does not guarantee book sales, bestseller status, reviews, rankings, media acceptance, podcast bookings, institutional adoption, community placement, or other third party decisions.

Find the opportunity worth pursuing around your book.

Send the book title, available links, and what you are currently trying to achieve. BBC will use that starting point to understand the book and determine which direction deserves closer attention.
